Gatlinburg Cabin Weddings and Pigeon Forge Cabin Weddings information page of frequently asked questions regarding a wedding in the Smoky Mountains

  1. Q:  Do you perform civil wedding ceremonies or wedding ceremonies without GOD mentioned?

A:  No! We perform traditional Christian ceremonies only.  GOD is the only way to good healthy marriage.

  1. Q:  Where is your chapel located?

A:  All ceremonies conducted by I DO Weddings In The Smokies are performed at your place of lodging or other predetermined destination. We do not perform chapel weddings.

  1. Q:  How much is your basic wedding ceremony?

A:  Please look at our cabin weddings page and/or outdoor weddings page for current pricing We do not offer cheap cabin wedding ceremonies, but affordable, elegant weddings that you and your loved one will forever cherish.

  1. Q:  How do I know if my wedding dates or times are available?

A:  You will need to go to our reservations request page and complete the online reservation request.  Please have a back up date and time.  Sometimes your first request is not always available.  Once we receive your request we will contact you via e-mail, or possibly by phone.

  2. Q:  Why is your guest limit only ten (10)?

A:  We have a strict guest limit of 10 because our whole idea of a wedding in the Smoky Mountains revolves around a small, quaint, personalized ceremony.  We do not cater to large weddings.  We have a certain clientele that we cater to, just like other ministers who prefer the larger weddings, thus their clientele differs from ours.

  3. Q:  Where are your cabins located?

A:  I DO Weddings In The Smokies does not own or rent cabins.  We perform wedding ceremonies in cabins that other overnight rental companies manage.  We have a list of managing  overnight rental companies on our cabin rentals page.  We do ceremonies only in cabins that are located in the Sevier County area of Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge or Sevierville.  If you have a cabin in Townsend or in the Cobbly Knob area their will be an extra trip charge.  The minimum trip fee is $75.00.

  4. Q:  Where do we get our marriage license?

A:  You can get your marriage license anywhere in the state of Tennessee.  If you get them anywhere outside of the state of Tennessee, we will not be able to perform your wedding ceremony.  We do however recommend that you get your marriage license at the Sevier County Courthouse.  For more information on your Tennessee Marriage License visit our Marriage License Page or the Sevier County Clerks web-site.

  5. Q:  Can we decorate the cabin and bring our own cake and flowers?

A:  Yes, you can decorate the cabin however you wish.  Just remember to keep it simple and fresh.  You can bring your own flowers and cake too.  We do not mind at all.
